Alvin Bangyu Li is a Law Clerk at Kimura London & White LLP, supporting attorneys in corporate law, business transactions, nonprofit organizations, and litigation matters. His work includes legal research, transactional support, corporate governance analysis, and litigation assistance. At KLW, Alvin has contributed to nonprofit governance and donation compliance reviews for an Orange County nonprofit organization and has assisted with a variety of business litigation and transactional matters.
Alvin is currently pursuing his Juris Doctor at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where he focuses on corporate law, business transactions, nonprofit entities, corporate governance, and business litigation. He previously earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Law and Society from the University of California, Irvine. His academic background and practical experience provide a strong foundation for helping clients navigate complex legal and business challenges.
Leadership and Community Impact
Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, Alvin brings a multicultural perspective to his work and supports effective communication with a diverse range of clients and organizations.
Prior to law school, Alvin served in executive leadership for a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and continues to serve as a member of its board of directors. Through his leadership, the organization raised more than one million dollars to support international student communities through scholarships, community support initiatives, clinic programs, and organizational development efforts. In recognition of his service, Alvin has received the President's Volunteer Service Award, Lifetime Achievement recognition, and certificates of recognition from several California municipalities, including the City of Irvine and the City of Los Angeles.
Outside of the office, Alvin enjoys cooking global cuisines, swimming, sailing, and aviation. His commitment to leadership, service, and continuous learning reflects the values he brings to both his professional and community endeavors.
