Baldemar Orozco Chanona is an Associate at Kimura London & White LLP, where he advises clients in private equity, venture capital, real estate, and nonprofit matters. He works with domestic and international clients on investment transactions, cross-border matters, and disputes involving contractual and fiduciary obligations. His practice is supported by a strong understanding of equity arrangements, business structures, and the regulatory considerations that impact global markets.
Baldemar earned his Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Redlands. During law school, he received the Van Uitert Public Interest Service Award with high honors in recognition of his commitment to public service. He is also the author of the forthcoming article, Post-Crisis Private Funds Environments: A U.S.–EU Regulatory and Enforcement Comparative Study Through a Luxembourg Lens, to be published in Currents: Journal of International Economic Law in Summer 2026.

Fluent in Spanish and proficient in French, Baldemar brings a multilingual and cross-cultural perspective to his work, allowing him to support clients across jurisdictions, industries, and business environments.
Outside of the office, Baldemar enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and pets. He is also a licensed skydiver, a pursuit that reflects discipline, preparation, and thoughtful risk assessment. Baldemar remains active in community service through firmwide volunteer initiatives with Second Harvest, supporting efforts to address food insecurity.
