Izumi Mitsuda is a Senior Paralegal and Professional Fiduciary at Kimura London & White LLP, bringing extensive experience in estate planning, probate administration, fiduciary services, and U.S.–Japan cross-border legal matters. She works closely with attorneys, clients, beneficiaries, and fiduciaries to facilitate complex estate and trust matters, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and effective communication throughout every stage of the process. Her unique combination of legal, fiduciary, and cross-cultural experience allows her to serve as a trusted resource for clients navigating both domestic and international estate issues.
Izumi's extensive credentials reflect her dedication to the legal profession and client service. She holds a Juris Doctor, a Bachelor's Degree in Law, and a Paralegal Certificate. She is a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary, National Certified Guardian (NCG), Registered Legal Document Assistant (LDA), and Notary Public. She has also completed California's state-certified 65-hour Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, and Human Trafficking Counselor Certification Training, further strengthening her ability to support individuals facing sensitive and challenging circumstances.
Global Experience and Community Service
Fluent in Japanese, Izumi plays an important role in supporting Japanese-speaking clients and assisting with U.S.–Japan cross-border estate, trust, and probate matters. Her ability to bridge cultural and language differences helps clients feel informed, supported, and understood throughout the legal process.
Before entering the legal field, Izumi spent 15 years as a flight attendant, traveling throughout the world and gaining firsthand experience with diverse cultures and communities. Today, she continues to enjoy traveling, cultural exploration, and choral singing.
Izumi is also deeply committed to community service. She volunteers with the Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF), an organization dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence in Asian Pacific Islander communities, and has supported initiatives through UCLA's Title IX and Sexual Harassment Prevention Office within the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Her commitment to advocacy, service, and client care reflects the values she brings to her work every day at KLW.
