Karen DeCorte is a Paralegal at Kimura London & White LLP, bringing more than 25 years of experience in California family law. Throughout her career, she has supported attorneys and clients through a wide range of family law matters, providing case management, legal document preparation, client communication, and litigation support. Her extensive experience and compassionate approach help clients navigate some of life's most challenging transitions with confidence and care.
Karen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine, and later obtained her Paralegal Certificate from UC Irvine. During her undergraduate studies, she was recognized on the Honor Roll multiple times and completed an impactful internship with the Blind Children's Learning Center in Santa Ana. Through that experience, she worked with visually impaired, blind, and sighted children, gaining valuable insight into the benefits of inclusive learning environments and community support.
Experienced and Family-Focused
Fluent in French, Karen brings additional cultural awareness and communication skills to her role. Her decades of family law experience, combined with her dedication to client service, make her a trusted resource for both attorneys and clients.
Outside of the office, Karen enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, photography, playing poker, and attending IndyCar races. She is also a devoted Notre Dame football fan. Born in France to a French mother and a Hawaiian Air Force father, Karen brings a unique international perspective and a warm sense of humor to both her personal and professional life. She hopes to one day volunteer with local hospitals or children's organizations, continuing her passion for helping others and supporting families in need.
