Michael S. Vasin

Michael S. Vasin represents corporate and individual clients in a broad range of business, employment, and real estate matters, with a focus on complex disputes and litigation. Prior to joining Kimura London & White LLP, Mr. Vasin was a partner at Buley Vasin APC, where he advised and represented clients in complex business and real estate matters, including business ownership and control disputes, contract disputes, transactional matters, administrative claims and hearings, pre-litigation disputes, and civil litigation in both state and federal courts.
Previously, Mr. Vasin was a partner at Sullivan, Ballog & Williams, where he represented large institutional clients and small businesses in all aspects of civil litigation. His experience includes employment law, federal civil rights, municipal law, business disputes, premises liability, and personal injury and wrongful death defense. He has extensive courtroom experience throughout California, appearing in both state and federal courts from El Centro to Sacramento.
Experienced and Trial-Tested
Born and raised in Southern California, Mr. Vasin earned his undergraduate degree in Journalism, with honors, from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunications. He received his Juris Doctor, also with honors, from Chapman University School of Law. During law school, he was selected to serve on Chapman's Law Review and was chosen as a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert W. Alberts of the United States Bankruptcy Court and the Honorable Alicemarie H. Stotler of the United States District Court.
Mr. Vasin was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2003 and the State Bar of Arizona in 2004. He is admitted to practice before all United States District Courts in California and Arizona, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the Orange County Bar Association.
Outside of the office, Mr. Vasin enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing outdoor activities, including saltwater fishing, motorsports, barbequing, hiking, and snowboarding.
